StuporWare.. make that... Tupperware

Who can make sense out of this crap?

AnnaKoolaid,

Who is reporting this? How do they know it goes to my site? Are they clicking with the intention to purchase Tupperware Online as the ad states or are they committing click fraud? I would like to report them to Google. Also, I would like that you provide analytics for my site, so I can monitor who is clicking on my ads including Tupperware IT dept. You do not have a right to click on ads without the intention of going to a site for the purpose that it is advertising...this amounts to click fraud. I suggest your consultants and IT department stop this practice immediately.

I have quit advertising for Tupperware on Google completely, as I have discovered a cheaper and more effective way of getting my site to the top of search engines. Also, if people want to advertise for me without my knowledge I don't know how to prevent that...I can continue to ask them to stop, but I highly doubt that they will...most people that I know LOVE a good underdog story and cause. Maybe the consultants that have forwarded you the information can help you find a way to police all advertising in the world -- or at least a way to take over Google, so you can control all the advertising on Google!

Thank you,
E

I wanted to follow up with you on the ads that we have had complaints about. It turns out that the 3 complaints I received were all for the same ad, and I've attached a screen shot of that one, it's pointing to ilovedildos.com.

If you need any help at all, please let me know.

Thanks,

I can't believe a multi-billion $ company has an IT department that can't answer technical questions or comments and just hide behind their "policies". Just a few pasted here (from my recruit and one from myself) that have been danced around.....can we say, "plastic dancers" appeasing the almighty Internet Tupperware God's?

I am just trying to do business according to Tupperware's stringent and somewhat unrealistic Internet policies, and I am being made to feel like the enemy. I am not selling on ebay, I am not advertising my own sites off of my my.tupperware site, I am hosting parties and fund raisers and attending training, I am taking this job seriously. I have been accused of doing something that I am not doing and shut down because of it and at this point I have lost money not made money. It is difficult for me to understand why Tupperware does not want me to sell online and why they are making it so difficult for "new" recruits to profit online. I am lead to certain conclusions based on two facts:

The profit from sales generated by the Official Tupperware Website are given to managers and above. Therefore, my consultant website is in direct competition for sales with the Official Tupperware Website.
The consultants who have been selling online for several years and are generating substantial sales also would see newly recruited Internet Consultants as a threat to their sales numbers, as we are all in direct competition with each other.
These two facts tell me that although Tupperware as a corporation will earn more money by increasing their number of successful Internet consultants (and therefore benefit shareholders), certain individuals in more influential positions than myself could potentially lose money or at the very least be forced to work a lot harder to compete for their online sales. I am certain that the current policies are a reflection of these facts and are geared to protect the individuals currently making most of the profit from online sales. This should concern Tupperware corporation greatly, as it is a publicly traded company and the most important interest is that of the shareholder, not that of the Internet consultant, manager, or director. The SEC will likely want to conduct an investigation, if certain individuals interests are being protected and promoted over those of the shareholders.

I am asking that you do not shut my site down again without PROOF that I am violating certain policies. I am also asking that if you shut me down for violations that you shut other individuals down for violations, as I have seen many consultants advertising using methods specifically in violation with the policies and their sites remain activated.

QUESTIONS I HAVE IN ADDITION TO THE COMMENTS I'VE MADE ABOVE:

1. What is the reason for the policy that "Authorized Independent Sales Consultants" selling ONLY Tupperware from their my.tupperware sites and generating business for Tupperware are not allowed to bid on the word "tupperware"?

2. Is it ethical for Tupperware to establish a situation where it's consultants are competing with the corporation itself for sales (i.e. a consultants selling via my.tupperware sites in competition with Tupperware selling via the official tupperware.com site) and then setting up rules and policies to restrict only the my.tupperware sites and not the official site (such as bidding on the word "tupperware"?

3. Why is my site being shut down if I am not bidding on the word "tupperware" for my my.tupperware site?

4. Do you have confirmation from Google as to my "actual" key word list or are you making assumption based on search results? Unfortunately, I am unable at this time to authorize you to obtain any of my Google account information as we apparently are in direct competition with each other for sales even though I am attempting to generating sales for the company (CRAZY!)

5. How educated are your IT people in regard to how Google generates their ads? My ads are showing up when they search the word "tupperware" because of their "relevance" to the search not because I am bidding on that word...this is a "content network" feature of Google advertising that is not based on bidding on particular words.

If you have a clear understanding of how Google advertising works you would know that you CAN NOT PROVE that a person is bidding on any particular word simply by doing a search on that word and having their ad appear.

I have been documenting the number of clicks I am getting on my google ad and my.tupperware vs. the number of sales I have received. It looks as though everything was running smoothly when I first set up my google ad at 7:30 am 4/2/07. Today I am not getting ANY purchases even though I am getting click throughs from my Google ad to my.tupperware website.

1. Please provide documentation that proves that my sales (according to the number of shop views on my.tupperware) are not occurring because of a glitch in the system or the user decided not to purchase.
A: If it is a glitch/error in the system, please provide the documentation of where the payment transactions went and the action plan to resolve the error.
B: If it is user error or they decided not to purchase please provide the documentation/transaction that supports that.

2. Please provide documentation and the payment transactions occurring on 4/2/07 showing/proving how those transactions posted to my sales account.

I have documentation I logged indicating the txn's/click throughs occurring on 4/2/07 and 4/3/07. I have also kept screen prints of everything that has occurred on 4/2/07 and 4/3/07 in regards to my.tupperware sales. Please let me know if you need to see them.
